EMMANUEL COLLEGE KAZO 40TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECTS FUNDRAISING
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Emmanuel College Kazo seeks funding support for seven transformative vocational training projects as part of its 40th Anniversary celebrations in July 2026. With a total budget of Shs. 84,550,000 (USD $24,160), these projects will transform the institution into a model vocational training center, equipping youth from marginalized communities with practical skills for entrepreneurship and meaningful employment. The initiatives align with the anniversary theme "Go Forward, Transform" and represent a strategic investment in sustainable, community-driven development.

Partnering with SATO for the Smart Toilet Enhancing Program.
SATO, a social business under LIXIL Corporation, delivers affordable, innovative toilet solutions that transform sanitation in rural and urban communities. These "smart" toilets tackle odors, insects, and water scarcity using simple technology—upgrading traditional pit latrines into hygienic facilities with minimal water pour-flush systems.

Through the School Toilet Enhancement Programme (STEP), SATO pans featuring sealed trapdoors block flies and smells while promoting health and attendance across African schools. Products like the original SATO Pan, child-friendly SATO Stool, and water-saving SATO Tap offer easy, cost-effective retrofits that empower communities with sustainable hygiene.
